«Игрушка руководителя». Словосочетание executive toy вошло в употребление около 1970 г., означая безделушку, созданную для развлечения деловых людей, проводящих большую часть времени в офисе — западный вариант восточных worry beads (чётки для нервных). Одной из таких типичных безделушек является небольшая настольная деревянная или металлическая рамка, из которой свисают в ряд несколько стальных шариков. Шарик на одном краю ударяется о соседний шарик, что даёт толчок шарику на другом краю, таким образом энергия толчка проходит через средние шарики, не потревожив их. -
